TOWN OF MILFORD DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR Truck Driver / Laborer Position The Town of Milford has a great opportunity for candidates looking to work in the municipal sector.. The Milford Department of Public Works is seeking a few qualified individuals to fill the positions of Truck Driver / Laborer (Grade 13) within our Public Works Department.
Duties will include, but are not limited to: maintaining a safe workplace, the operation of construction equipment, snow and ice removal, landscaping/construction, vehicle/ground building maintenance, paving, storm water/drainage and other duties as assigned. Candidate(s) must be able to understand and follow oral and written directives.
A successful applicant must be at least 18 years of age, have a
NH Class B CDL ( REQUIRED) - Class A CDL is preferred, have a High School diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience within the area of winter/summer municipal road maintenance; OR possess any combination of education and experience which demonstrates the required knowledge, skill and ability.
