Join our team as a Senior Accountant, where you'll play a key role in managing capital projects, ensuring the integrity of financial data, and supporting reporting processes. If you enjoy problem-solving and attention to detail, we want to hear from you! salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Conducts monthly and quarterly analysis and reconciliations for various general ledger accounts, including unclaimed refunds, advances for construction, and CIAC. Prepares monthly roll-forward schedules for assigned general ledger accounts, with a focus on utility plant and related accounts. Manages Fixed Asset accounting, including asset setups, transfers, depreciation, and reconciliation between sub-ledgers and the general ledger. Audits and reconciles Main Extension Advance Contracts and ensures alignment of contract sub-ledgers with the general ledger on a monthly basis. Addresses data integrity and reporting issues within the contract module. Supports the preparation of quarterly financial reports for SEC filings, including Form 10-Q and 10-K, as well as compliance reporting for government surveys, FERC Form reports, and CPUC requirements.
