Arabic AND French Linguist Translation and Interpretation Job Category: Language Services Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Outside Continental US CACI is seeking TS/SCI Poly-cleared candidates for Arabic AND French language ( must have both Arabic AND FRENCH ) professionals to join our prime contract supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA. What You’ll Get to Do: This role will enable you to utilize both your linguistic and analytical skills for mission-driven roles. You will translate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced-level printed materials, including but not limited to: technical manuals, foreign language periodicals, and audio files into correct grammatical American English. You will work either lead or be part of a team of linguists supporting CONUS and/or OCONUS operations. More About the Role: Education Required: B.A. obtained in U.S. or in country of language skill Clearance Required to work: TS/SCI with polygraph Testing Requirement: Speaking, Listening and Reading test, Translation test, Interpretation test Required skills: Summarizing/gisting; translation related services; Triaging work; Quality Control; Editing Years of related experience: 5+ Work location: Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA) Percent of travel: 0% Language tests needed for position with minimum score:

Translation - 3+ Interpretation - 3 Linguistic services will specialize in the translation of complex and technical information. Polished skills in core linguistic functions and linguistic services is a MUST. Core functions of translation, transcription and interpretation are key. Local travel will be on as-needed basis within the WMA. Subject Matter Expert Skills Required: Cyber, Economics, Military, Science and Technology Desired: Counter-Proliferation, Geospatial Ancillary Skills Required: Scanning, Selection, Workflow Desired: Collection, Content Management, Writing Reports These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Previous military experience Has good understanding of one or more regional dialects Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
