ParadigmWorks Group Inc. is currently seeking an accounting professional to join our dynamic team in Marietta, GA. to fill our Bookkeeper position.

Job Summary:

The Professional we seek will prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and perform monthly bank reconciliations. In addition, the accountant will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings and general ledger reconciliation. Also, the accountant professional we seek will also assist in developing and implementing accounting policies, ensure compliance with GAAP and interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting
  • Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process
  • Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and ensuring compliance with GAAP
  • Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision
  • Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner
  • Create and/or develop a variety of financial reports for governmental agencies.
Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; or
  • Associates Degree and 4-years accounting experience
Skills and Abilities:
  • Familiarity with government contract accounting is a plus.
  • Strong QuickBooks Cloud accounting software skills.
  • Familiarity with generally accepted cost accounting standards.
  • Strong computer, telecommunications, and virtual technologies including laptop/notebook, desktop PC, tablets and a variety of software applications including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • A valid driver's license in the state of assignment with no major moving citations within the last 39 months
  • Undergo and complete a background investigation and drug screen
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
