Civil Structural Engineer – Lead Innovation in Bridge Design and Construction

What You’ll Do:

·  Own the Project Lifecycle – Manage structural designs from concept through production, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and innovation every step of the way.

·  Solve Real-World Challenges – Use given loadings and site conditions to develop optimal, code-compliant design solutions that stand the test of time.

·  Set the Standard – Apply and uphold key industry codes (AASHTO, ADM, ACI, AISC, ASCE, DOT, IBC, NDS, etc.), ensuring designs meet the highest standards.

·  Collaborate & Lead – Work closely with sales, production, and design teams to streamline project execution, solve design challenges, and drive efficiency.

·  Be the Technical Expert – Provide guidance and support to customers, contractors, and internal teams regarding structural integrity, fabrication, and installation.

·  Optimize & Innovate – Initiate Creative design and workflow processes, creating new solutions for old challenges.

·  Drive Project Success – Manage schedules, budgets, and expectations while proactively addressing challenges before they become obstacles.

What You Bring to the Table:

·  Proven Expertise – 5+ years in structural design, with experience in bridge design or prefabricated structures preferred.

·  Leadership Experience – 2+ years managing projects.

·  Technical Mastery – Strong knowledge of Tekla Structural Designer (or other Finite Element Analysis programs), structural materials, and fabrication methods.

·  Problem-Solving Mindset – A self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, takes ownership, and seeks innovative solutions.

·  Exceptional Organization – Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure seamless execution.

·  Strong Communication – Able to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, actionable insights for internal teams and external partners.

Pay : $125,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
