As a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Intern at Oakbrook Corporation, you can expect a dynamic and engaging daily routine. Your responsibilities will include assisting in market research, analyzing property listings, and supporting senior brokers with client communications. You will partake in property viewings and attend team meetings where you'll contribute ideas and collaborate on ongoing projects, enhancing your teamwork and problem-solving skills. You'll also utilize industry software for data entry and reporting, refining your technical abilities.

Your schedule will typically range from 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexible hours accommodating both office and fieldwork. This structured yet varied experience will provide a comprehensive foundation in commercial real estate brokerage.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shadowing advisors (property tours, meetings, calls, business development, etc.)
• Assist advisors by searching for listings, obtaining photos, and summarizing information.
• Conduct research on sales of industrial and office buildings and land in the Madison area.
• Update information on properties, spaces, and comparable leases within CRM software.
• Research key decision makers at potential prospect's firms for later follow up by advisors.
• Support advisors' community engagement efforts, either personal or online/social media.
• Hang signs, deliver documents and keys, open or lock spaces; other errands.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
