Finance Manager/Controller

Our client is currently seeking a Finance Manager/Controller to partner up with the operations group on all day-to-day activities.

About the Finance Manager/Controller role

• Oversight of accounting team - managing, reporting and compliance.
• Putting together financials on a monthly basis - hands on.
• Budgeting and forecasting, reforecasting.
• Heavy analysis of overall monthly numbers, reporting to the ownership group
• The Controller will be instrumental in suggesting enhanced policies and procedures.
• Review of month-end financials.
• Managing the budget, forecast, cost and revenue reports, sate/local/federal tax filings, working with external functions including external audit.
• Work with senior management on providing financial analysis and ad-hoc projects.

Preferred qualifications of the Finance Manager/Controller

• BS Accounting, CPA desired.
• Experience with Sage ERP is highly preferred.
• Construction or Manufacturing accounting background with supervisory experience.
