Job Title: Customer Support Specialist (Bilingual in Mandarin/Cantonese and English)

Duration: Temp to Perm (Permanent within 3-4 months!)

Location: Markham, ON

Salary: $21/hr

Job Description:

Our client, a leading provider of home building materials in Markham, is seeking a dedicated and personable Bi-lingual (Mandarin/Cantonese & English) Customer Support Specialist to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients have a positive and welcoming experience as they visit our store. This position will start off temporary and can lead to permanent employment with the company within a few months!

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle all incoming calls and inquiries, providing accurate information and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
• Assist customers with their product inquiries, orders, and returns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area.
• Coordinate with other team members to manage daily schedules, appointments, and customer follow-ups.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing email correspondence.
• Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, placing orders as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in customer service or a similar role preferred.
• Must be bi-lingual in Mandarin/Cantonese and English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player.
• Reliable transportation
