Director of Data Engineering / Petroleum Engineer This is a unique opportunity to work with an all-star group of large independent E&Ps to implement solutions to some of the most significant problems in oil and gas using the PetroBricks data automation platform. The ideal candidate will have substantial petroleum engineering experience, preferably as a Production Engineer, but will have transitioned to a more data engineering or analytics-focused role. Candidates must reside in Denver, Houston, or OKC areas. The Director of Data Engineering will initially work with customer petroleum engineers and IT staff to identify, learn, and understand common industry problems such as gas lift optimization, ESP optimization, emissions monitoring, etc. They will serve as an SME, helping customers leverage the PetroBricks data automation platform to solve these issues, integrating new-tech sensor systems, SaaS applications, internal customer services, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Snowflake. This role also involves building and leading the PetroBricks Implementation/Data Engineering Team.
