Job Duties

-Safely deliver Amazon packages from an Amazon branded delivery vehicle.

-Drivers must be able to complete routes on time regardless of routine barriers.

-Average rural route stop count: 100-140. Average suburban route stop count: 150-200.

-Drivers will climb various flights of stairs, walk various driveways, and deliver in all weather conditions which requires strong physical and mental stamina/endurance.

-Amazon delivery vans monitor and report unsafe driving behaviors such as hard accelerations, braking, cornering, distractions, speeding, seatbelts usage, stop sign violations, and following distance. Drivers must maintain acceptable safe driving behaviors (training provided).

-Amazon monitors important quality metrics such as accuracy of delivery location, amount of packages returned, and photo quality. Drivers must maintain an acceptable standard of work (training provided).

Pay/Benefits

-Above average starting base pay $17.50/hr

-10 hour pay when working less than 10 hours (some reasonable conditions apply).

-Rescue pay of $1 per stop (helping a route that has fallen behind schedule after completing your own route).
