About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee and manage the electrical scope of work on a large-scale utility-scale solar project in Arizona. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring electrical installations meet quality, schedule, and safety standards while coordinating subcontractors and internal teams in a fast-paced EPC environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all on-site electrical construction activities, including medium-voltage (MV), low-voltage (LV), wiring, terminations, and interconnections for solar PV systems.
• Direct and coordinate field crews and subcontractors to ensure high productivity and safety compliance.
• Manage construction progress against the project schedule and proactively identify and address potential delays or issues.
• Conduct daily and weekly safety meetings and ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, company, and client specifications.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of inverters, transformers, combiner boxes, DC cabling, and other related electrical infrastructure.
• Monitor material delivery and inventory to support efficient workflow and avoid delays.
• Interface with QA/QC, engineering, and commissioning teams to ensure system compliance and functionality.
• Document all activities, inspections, and incidents according to company and regulatory standards.
• Lead punch-list walks and ensure timely close-out of electrical scope.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or similar role, preferably on utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects.
• Deep understanding of EPC workflows , solar PV systems, and NEC standards.
• Proven leadership experience managing crews and subcontractors in a field construction environment.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards , site safety protocols, and enforcement.
• Ability to interpret electrical plans, specifications, and one-lines.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician License (preferred but not required).
• Willingness to work in a remote/project-based environment in Arizona with extended stays on-site.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $55-60/hr plus overtime (10-20 hours a week)
• Per Diem: $225/day average x 7 days a week
• Company truck and gas card
