Description EGC Construction, a subsidiary of Messer Construction Co., is currently seeking an Electrician to join the team. EGC employs more than 120 skilled craft workers that focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction. We offer general, commercial and industrial construction including electrical work, millwrights, pipe fitters and structural steel detailers. Headquartered in Newport, Kentucky and have been servicing local, regional, and international clients since 1978. EGC is committed to safety and the continuous improvement of our safety systems. • Read and interpret single line diagrams, elementary drawings and P&ID’s
• Installation of raceways: Cable tray, Wire way and Rigid conduit
• Instrumentation and Control wiring and/or tubing.
• C1D1 and intrinsically safe wiring methods.
• Perform planned maintenance, inspection and installation on process and production equipment.
• Follow job site safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Identify safety hazards and protect self and others.

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills.
• OSHA 10 Certified
• Be willing to work within a 50-mile radius. Willingness to travel to other states for work is a plus!
• Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions.
