We re seeking an experienced EKG Technician to support the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) under a long-term federal healthcare contract. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about serving our nation s veterans through high-quality cardiac diagnostic care.

Full-Time, On-Site
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
40 hours/week
No weekends or holidays
Includes 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks
Perform resting ECGs , stress tests , and ambulatory cardiac monitoring
Evaluate pacemakers and identify abnormal rhythms
Conduct accurate lead placement (standard and modified)
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot EKG equipment
Record results and findings in VA systems (CPRS, VISTA, MUSE)
Support inpatient and outpatient cardiac diagnostics as needed
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and VA privacy standards
Participate in training, peer reviews, and process improvements
Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) Credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
At least 1 year of recent EKG/cardiac monitoring experience
Familiarity with medical terminology
Must be a U.S. Citizen (federal requirement)

Drug screening
TB clearance and immunization records
Experience with CPRS, VISTA, or MUSE charting systems
Prior experience in federal, military, or government healthcare environments
Pacemaker interrogation knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Bilingual (especially Spanish) is a plus
