Fidelity Power Systems , one of the nation's largest distributors of Kohler Generators and Power Systems, is seeking a Generator Technician to join our expanding team based in Roanoke, VA .

If you are highly skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customers' generators, then you may be just who we need!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines.

• Troubleshoot electrical circuit boards.

• Change oil and filers.

• Troubleshoot complete electrical systems.

• Work with customer on a one-on-one basis.

• Complete and submit work orders and reports.

• Prepare accurate quotes for repairs.

• Maintain truck inventory.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED.

• Vo-tech school or Military training, a plus.

• John Deere, Cummins, and/or Caterpillar engine training is preferred.

• Training on Automatic Transfer Switches.

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
