We are immediately hiring a Customer Logistics Manager in Nashville, TN for our Supply Chain Solutions division. The Manager Customer Logistics will oversee the day-to-day operations within an assigned function, and is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management. Mainly responsible for the leadership of direct reports as well as the attainment of daily operational goals within his/her assigned functional area. Essential functions include customer service satisfaction and expectation management, staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees, managing day-to-day planning and scheduling, health and safety management, and compliance with state/local/federal regulations. Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned. Skills and abilities required include the ability to work within international functional teams, high-level analytical ability, demonstrated technical and professional skills, off-shift support in critical situations, timely decision-making, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels, ability to work independently and as part of a team, flexibility, multi-tasking, organization, detail orientation, proficiency in MS Office, advanced logistics industry knowledge, knowledge of customer/company regulations, fundamental supply chain management knowledge, and strong manufacturing and production knowledge. Qualifications include a high school diploma/GED, preferred bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain, two or more years of relevant experience, one or more years of supervisory experience, and required proficiency in MS Office and logistics knowledge. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and is salaried exempt with pay twice per month.
