Job Description

Mid-Level UI/UX Designer Location 100% Remote Contract Duration April 2025 December 31, 2025 with strong possibility of extension or conversion to full time employment Note Some domestic travel may be required occasionally (travel expenses will be reimbursable) *Must Have a Portfolio - Needs to highlight UI/UX expertise in supporting complex end to end workflow We are looking for a creative and collaborative UX/UI designer who can keep the user at the center of our designs. A big focus of this position is on complex data solutioning found in EHR/healthcare user workflows. This person will partner with other UX/UI Design team members, Product Managers and Technical Architects to uncover real problems as well as concept and validate effective design solutions. You will be responsible for UX/UI design solutions by utilizing discovery and analysis, user research, information architecture, and interaction skills. You must be able to create impactful change through functional, intuitive, and efficient user experiences. Duties will include the following: Focus 40% of time on UI Design and 60% on UX Design. Work on future visioning for UI/UX and at the same time provide support to Agile teams to support the SDLC responsibilities Support complex projects within UI/UX and across functional project teams Assist with the development and execution of the overall strategy at the key departmental level, having a clear understanding of the long-term vision and strategy of the company Facilitate dialog with Product Managers and Technical Architects to uncover clear problem definition and identify assumptions Advocate for user needs and representation in the translation of business objectives into project requirements Partner with and support research in conducting research efforts including user discovery, concept validation, and usability evaluation Translate findings and recommendations into fully functional technical designs that will be meaningful for users and will mesh with the product roadmap Facilitate design ideation and strategy sessions with cross-functional groups Develop structural and strategic work defining user scenarios, workflows, interaction models and conceptual wireframes Anticipate issues at a macro and micro level concurrently Work through implementation with scrum teams to ensure the desired user experience from functionality to form is carried through the development cycle Work with other UX Design team members to refine interaction, promoting consistency and UX standards development Required Skills and Expertise: 4-6 years of UX/UI Design experience Mid-level skills with using the Figma application, using component libraries and best practices to streamline and create proficient design files for scalability and ease of editing/modifying Must have experience in complex user workflows E xperience designing for either responsive design or iOS native platform P revious experience using AI tools or interest and research into how AI can improve design processes, efficiency, etc. Skilled in using empathy as well as critical and analytical thinking to understand and frame problems Comfortable working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executives, and can communicate ideas in the language of business as well as design Passionate about sharing knowledge and expertise with more junior team members by providing design guidance and coaching Willing to lead and mentor teammates, share knowledge, and foster new ideas and strategies to make processes efficient Ability to display and utilize diplomatic conflict resolution and consensus building, eliciting feedback to act as a change agent for the team Proven ability to work in fast-paced agile environment Enjoys taking smart risks and championing new ideas Skilled in working with minimal supervision, executing against deadlines on multiple concurrent projects Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism Effective communicator who can present in front of stakeholders, lead design discussions, and keeps stakeholders informed of statuses on projects Desired Skills and Expertise: Experience working within the healthcare industry Expertise in complex data solutioning found in EHR/healthcare user workflows Experience evaluating usability studies Mixpanel or Pendo analytic software experience #J-18808-Ljbffr iSpace
