Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for
a Modification Electrician F&H B to join our team in
Everett, WA .
Position Responsibilities: \n - Follow the guidance and direction from lead, and senior SMEs
\n - Remove, replace, adjust and/or install equipment racks, power panels and various aircraft components/assemblies, and closures
\n - Perform bond and ground testing to ensure electrical ground between aircraft systems
\n - Perform wire routing and wire terminations
\n - Perform soldering
\n - Perform pre and post testing of electrical systems
\n - Locate work area using drawings, Installation Plan or other paperwork that specifies airplane number, section number and three-point location
\n - Obtain and verify detail parts, standards and assemblies were issued correctly and are free of visible defects
\n - Perform lock out, tag out, try out equipment for safety
\n - Perform detailed tool inventories daily
\n - Demonstrate a safe work ethic
\n - Work with military customers to ensure compliance with BDS policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): \n - 1+ years of experience in performing complete operational testing of electrical systems
\n - 1+ years of experience in electronics or electrical troubleshooting
\n - Experience reading and interpreting system prints and schematics
\n
\n

Additional Information: \n - This is a union-represented position
\n - This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM 751) Collective Bargaining Agreement. New Hires, as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions, may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Summary pay range: $27.00 - $52.78/hour
