The Registered Nurse (RN) - House Supervisor oversees departmental operations during shifts, acts as a liaison between staff, physicians, and other facilities, and ensures delivery of quality patient care. They manage resources, maintain positive relationships within the hospital community, and provide direct patient care when necessary. Department/Unit Summary
The Hospital Supervisor will act as liaison between staff, physicians and other facilities. They will monitor and control departmental operations within approved budget, contribute to and promote positive relationships between physicians, hospital staff, guests and the local community, and provide necessary medications and supplies according to hospital policy in the absence of staff in these departments. Occasionally, the Hospital Supervisor will provide direct patient care on and be responsible during shift for the hospital in the absence of department management or administrative personnel.
