Private Housekeeper

INFORMAL household seeking to hire an energetic and experienced full-time “live- out” housekeeper for a unique residential and commercial property in Doral, FL.

Hours are Monday - Friday 10:30am – 7:00pm. Must be flexible   as overtime will be required.

Must speak English, authorized to work in the US, have a valid driver license and own reliable vehicle, and must be able to pass a thorough background check.

Job Responsibilities

· Take extreme care in handling and cleaning household items and other valuables

· Laundry and ironing

· Handwash dishes and clean kitchen multiple times daily

· Pay attention to small details and maintain high standards of household specifications 

· Keep accurate and detailed inventory of household products, including cleaning products and kitchen refrigerator/pantry items, and work with manager on replenishment 

· Work closely with manager on scheduling home maintenance and repair work

· Organization and maintenance of closets, cupboards and pantries including inventory list

· Assist with formal and informal service, light food and drink preparation

· Follow packing lists closely and pack luggage for principal, making updates as items change and keeping track of items upon principal’s return 

· Follow dress code 

· Participate with the day to day service for principals in the residence

· Occasionally participate with house staff with special projects for the care of finishes and furnishings 

· Maintain flexibility with schedule and duties while completing daily routines

· Fulfill other projects as assigned to ensure smooth operations

Job Requirements

- Minimum of 5+ years related work experience in a private home.

- Must be comfortable taking direction from House Manager and Personal Assistants

- Must be team player and working with others

- Must be legally able to work in the U.S. 

- Valid U.S. driver license is required

- Must have reliable transportation

- Must be able to speak and write English. 

- Must have verifiable references

- Local candidates only
