Project Engineer

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Description:

As a Project Engineer, you will oversee small capital projects ranging from $1M to $30M within a refinery setting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Pump Replacements
• Exchanger Upgrades
• Heater and Burner Upgrades
• Cooling Water Tower and Boiler Projects
• Dock/Terminal Projects: Upgrading infrastructure for loading/unloading ships at barges
• Turnaround (TA) Planning: Developing scopes of work for projects
• Front-End Loading Documentation: Creating detailed PIDs and scopes of work
• Project Leadership: Leading kick-off meetings and directing EPC teams assigned to the project
• Cost Estimation: Assisting in developing Class IV and Class V estimates
• Schedule Management: Defining and updating project schedules, reporting weekly on delays and cost deviations
• Cost Analysis: Reviewing reports and providing feedback on cost increases or decreases for each project
• Tank Experience

Requirements:

• BS Degree in Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in oil & gas projects
• Previous experience in refinery or petrochemical capital projects
