We have job opportunities available for Ramp Agents located at the PDX airport in Portland, OR. Experience preferred; but, not required as training is provided. Job description : The Ramp Agent is responsible for providing ground support for inbound and outbound aircraft. This position loads and unloads freight and or baggage handling. Compensation: The pay rate listed on this post, is what the company reasonably expects to pay for this position. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Loads unload, services, guides, pushes back and directs aircraft Transports Cargo to and from the aircraft in a safe and timely manner Weighs, stacks, pick up, and delivers all cargo and accompanying paperwork and delivers to the appropriate location As qualified, operates all power and other ground equipment, including push backs, tugs, tow bars, etc. as directed in order to complete Aircraft Operations Ensures safety of all aircraft, cargo, equipment, and personnel at all times Provides friendly services to all co-workers and customers Keeps all areas clean and in an orderly manner, including storage areas, ramp area, break rooms, and surrounding work areas Marshalls, parks, push back and controls all aspects of security of aircraft while under their control Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Maintains a safe and secure work environment People-oriented, highly motivated with a positive and cooperative attitude Friendly and outgoing personality Self-motivated / team player Ability to use a computer Ability to work under stressful situations Fluently read, speak, write and understand English Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record Job Type: Full-time Experience: Relevant, 1 year Education: High school or equivalent Work Location: PDX Airport Detail and safety-oriented with quality-focused customer satisfaction.
