Job Description

Remote AI Writing & Research Associate – No Degree Required, Flexible Hours

About the Role

A remote-based publishing group is hiring entry-level AI Writing & Research Associates to support the development of nonfiction Kindle books using artificial intelligence tools and structured writing templates. This is a fully remote position with flexible hours, open to applicants with no prior experience, no degree, and no background in writing or publishing.

As part of the role, you will be trained to use guided AI prompts and niche research tools to create short Kindle books, typically 3,000–7,000 words in length. You will follow a repeatable system to produce clear, reader-focused digital content that is published through Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing platform.

Key Responsibilities

Research and Topic Identification

Use internal keyword research tools to find profitable Kindle niches

Select beginner-friendly, low-competition topics based on search volume and reader demand

Organize outlines and chapter structures using pre-built nonfiction templates

AI-Assisted Drafting and Editing

Use AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to generate content ideas and rough drafts

Edit, refine, and format content to ensure readability and logical flow

Follow preloaded writing guidelines and formatting standards

Metadata and Upload Preparation

Apply best-practice metadata including book title, subtitle, keywords, and description

Format manuscripts using step-by-step Kindle publishing instructions

Create basic covers using included tutorials and open-source design tools

Launch and Monitoring

Upload books to Amazon KDP using the provided checklist

Launch books using the system’s press release strategy

Monitor royalty payouts and performance metrics through Amazon dashboards

Required Qualifications

This is a beginner-friendly publishing opportunity. You do not need to be a writer or editor to qualify.

Minimum requirements:

Computer or laptop with internet access

Familiarity with Google Docs or Microsoft Word

Ability to follow instructions, watch training videos, and complete tasks independently

Willingness to use AI tools with provided prompts and templates

Attention to detail and interest in nonfiction content creation

1 book: $50–$200/month

5 books: $400–$800/month

10+ books: $2,000+/month with continued publishing

Books remain live and continue earning long after the initial work is complete.
