As the Retail Food Service Operations Director, you will manage multiple retail food service locations on campus, driving excellence, innovation, and profitability. Your responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with contract guidelines, health regulations, and maintaining high standards for food quality, freshness, and presentation. Key Responsibilities: Maintain client and customer satisfaction by ensuring food quality, service standards, and franchise standards are consistently met. Supervise hiring, training, and staff development to uphold service and food quality excellence. Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and financial reports related to food and labor costs. Ensure compliance with all quality and food safety standards to protect health and safety. Build strong client relationships to align programs with their objectives, enhancing satisfaction and retention. Perform additional duties as needed to support campus food service operations. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree preferred, but not required. Six or more years of operational food service management experience, including campus residential dining. Knowledge of food and catering trends, focusing on quality, sanitation, cost controls, marketing, and presentation. Proven leadership skills in supervising and developing staff. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Outstanding customer service skills with a commitment to high standards. Proficiency in financial report preparation and analysis. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Computer proficiency required. ServSafe Certification required.
