Job Summary Job Summary Grenada Elementary School District is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Attendance & Accounting Secretary to serve as the front office lead and primary point of contact for students, families, and the community. This position manages daily attendance in AERIES, maintains student records, supports communication efforts including school newsletters and parent notifications, and performs financial duties such as managing student body accounts. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance clerical, accounting, and public-facing responsibilities in a busy school environment. Requirements / Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional coursework or an associate degree in business, accounting, or office administration preferred. Experience: Previous experience in a school office or comparable public-facing role is highly desirable. Proficient with AERIES, attendance accounting, and student records systems is required. Experience in basic bookkeeping and handling cash (e.g., student body funds, deposits) is required. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Familiarity with Canva or similar tools for newsletters and school communications is a plus.
