We’re seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design and commercialize electric power transmission, substation, and distribution systems. This is an opportunity to join a growing, stable company and work on cutting-edge electrical systems that set the standard for reliability.

The position offers competitive compensation, full benefits, and the chance to work on highly impactful projects. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement system protection and control systems.
  • Review electrical system specifications submitted in sales bids to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
  • Lead the design and execution of assigned projects with minimal supervision.
  • Develop functional requirements, specifications, project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Produce detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD software (SolidWorks Electrical or similar preferred).
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure projects meet customer and industry standards.
  • Identify and resolve technical design challenges.
  • Define requirements, and develop testing and validation plans for electrical components.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet project objectives.
  • Provide production support for troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, O&M manuals, and product specifications.
  • Stay current with industry standards (IEEE, IEC, UL, etc.) and recommend improvements for existing and new products.
  • Participate in design reviews and drive improvements in product design and processes.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Solid understanding of power distribution systems and electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience with PLC programming, control systems, and circuit design/analysis.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (SolidWorks Electrical preferred).
  • Hands-on engineering development and production troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively.

If you’re ready for a role where your expertise will directly shape high-performance power distribution systems, we’d love to hear from you.
