Wally Esco is a local Chicago artist. He has a catalogue of singles coming out in 2025 and has booked 3 performances this summer. He seeks to show a new version of hip pop music, one that goes against today's traditional narratives on money, love, and culture.
His first single, First Check, is rooted in nostalgia. Many remember helping their families with their first childhood job, grinding to make ends meet, in hopes for a better future, eventually taking steps to progress in life. It’s a harmony of past, present, and future. From the first check, at 15 years working at the mall, to the first internship in New York City, to the first property. In today’s fast life rap culture, it’s a timely reminder to be both humble but ambitious, to save, invest, then spend.
His network includes other artists, local DJs, dance studios, ad/marketing teams, and club promoters. If you want to expand your network, get boots on the ground experience, and are okay with rolling up your sleeves to make the most of your summer then apply.
For days we meet in person, we include transportation & lunch. You are welcomed to work from home. But at least one day a week requires making video content in person.
