Job Description

Our client, a leader in motorsport engineering, is seeking a Sr. Chassis Designer to join their team. As a Sr. Chassis Designer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative vehicle design projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Chassis Designer

Location: Onsite, Santa Clarita, CA

Pay Range: Weekly Flat Rate: $100-130k

What's the Job?

• Provide design engineering expertise for race car vehicle design including creating and analyzing design concepts, CAD models, and drawings.
• Plan and complete assigned engineering projects while mentoring junior engineers.
• Evaluate and implement design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
• Coordinate design activities related to project development and resolve engineering design and test issues.
• Ensure compliance with engineering principles, company objectives, and related specifications during product design reviews.

What's Needed?

• 5-7 years of direct design experience of motorsport vehicles and systems.
• Extensive experience with CAD software modeling of race car components.
• Strong knowledge of race car chassis and mechanical systems.
• Proficient with workstation hardware and CAD software use to create models and drawings.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
