Temporary RCM Billing Specialist
About the Role:
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable RCM Billing Specialist to join a project aimed at stabilizing and reducing a large claims backlog. This role will focus heavily on Medicaid behavioral health claims. Candidates must have strong experience in working denials and account follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and resolve outstanding denied claims (primarily Medicaid)
  • Perform follow-up on previously submitted appeals and outstanding A/R
  • Use provided tools and tracking spreadsheets to assess and complete claim audits
  • Work in collaboration with internal team and minimal training support
  • Maintain productivity expectations with focus on accuracy and timeliness
What We’re Looking For:
  • 1–2+ years of experience in medical billing and denial management
  • Medicaid billing experience is required (behavioral health Medicaid preferred)
  • Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced clean-up project
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with Excel and basic spreadsheet navigation
Additional Info:
  • Onsite Only: No remote option. This is an onsite position located in South Scottsdale, AZ 85257
  • Hours: Position can start as early as 6am. For the first 2 days of training, start time is 7am.
  • Background Check: Required
  • Position Type: This is a contract position. The duration of the assignment will be around 3-5 months, or whenever the project is completed
  • Pay Range: $20-25/hr depending on experience
