We are expanding our team and seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Title Clerk who will handle title processing for both new and used vehicles. Position Summary: As the New & Used Title Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and managing vehicle titles for all new and pre-owned inventory. This role is essential in ensuring smooth and efficient vehicle transactions and maintaining compliance with state and local regulations. You will work closely with our sales and finance teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Titles for New & Used Vehicles : Accurately prepare and submit all title documents for new and pre-owned vehicles, ensuring timely submission to the DMV.
  • Handle Registrations : Complete registration processes and handle associated paperwork for a seamless customer experience.
  • Coordinate with Departments : Collaborate with sales, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth processing of vehicle transactions.
  • Record-Keeping & Compliance : Maintain organized, up-to-date files for all title records, meeting compliance with dealership and DMV standards.
  • Resolve Issues : Address any title-related questions or issues quickly, working with customers and lenders to resolve them.
  • Stay Informed : Keep up-to-date with state and local DMV regulations, ensuring dealership practices are compliant.
Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Title Clerk in an automotive dealership is preferred.
  • Knowledge of title processing for both new and used vehicles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with DMV procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, coworkers,
  • Proficiency with office software and dealership management systems.
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record that is acceptable to our policies.
