Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team at a leading Academic Medical Center and Level I Trauma facility. As an MRI Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the direction of the Medical Director, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist. This role involves creating high-quality images and ensuring a safe, positive experience for patients, including those in trauma and emergency situations, as well as inpatients and outpatients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI scans on various patient populations, including research participants and those requiring specialized MRI-guided procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide clinical evaluation and care.
• Uphold patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Support educational initiatives and engage in continuous learning to stay current with advancements in MRI technology.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active MRI Technologist certification and relevant licensure.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and technical excellence.

General Information:

• Number of Positions Available: 1
• Contract Duration: 91 Weeks
• Working Hours: Four 10-hour shifts from Tuesday to Friday; no on-call responsibilities.
