Job Title: MRI Technologist (Days)

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:00)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, with a strong background in MRI procedures involving abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal imaging, and more. This position requires expertise in diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, surface coils, and both T1 and T2 imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures on patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; familiarity with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients is preferred.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment (GE and Siemens) and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document patient information and imaging results using the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in MRI technology.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience; first-time travelers will not be accepted.
• Active ARRT and BLS certifications required.
• Familiarity with specialized imaging techniques such as CINE, diffusion (non-brain), and post-processing methods.
• Candidates must be available for an orientation schedule and may need to work during catastrophic events or disasters.
• Ability to float to various units within the hospital as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in chest imaging and image post-processing.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Additional Information:

• No call or weekend coverage is required.
• Candidates must be comfortable with potential float assignments and may work at affiliated hospitals.
• Completion of all onboarding modules and testing is required prior to start.
