On November 28th, 1956, ten local educators founded Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union with a vision for a better way to bank. Since then, Cy-Fair FCU has grown into a leading not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution built on the strength of the credit union’s mission and vision to strengthen the community. Today, membership is open to individuals who live, work, worship, or go to school in Harris County or parts of Waller County in Texas. The credit union offers a comprehensive range of financial products and services including personal banking, loans, business services, digital banking, and more. Cy-Fair FCU is committed to community engagement and launched the “Community Only Better” initiative 2013 which has donated a total of $855,257 to local organizations and causes to date.
Position Detail
With approximately $370 million in assets, Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union, located in Houston, Texas, is currently in search of a lending executive to serve as their Vice President of Lending & Loss Prevention. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the incoming executive will oversee the credit union’s lending operations to include origination, underwriting, funding, and servicing. Responsibilities will include driving loan volume, evaluating operating procedures within the department, monitoring portfolio risk, and coaching and developing the lending team. The ideal candidate needs to bring a strategic vision to the lending department and have the ability enhance consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending operations. Additionally, the successful candidate will have an extensive background in strengthening lending sales programs, and inspiring loan consultants to promote lending volume.
