CACI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Watch Officer to join our team to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award. The JDOC Senior Watch Officer leads all Watch Operations and oversees 24/7 real-time network operations, cybersecurity incidents, and critical IT service disruptions to ensure mission continuity. They coordinate response efforts, provide situational awareness to leadership, and manage operational workflows to enhance security posture and resilience while formulating and deploying CSSP functional capabilities, and ensuring Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA). This role will play a crucial part in ensuring total visibility of all missions and changes across USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services 2 (SCITES 2). Responsibilities include leading and managing the watch operations team during assigned shifts, ensuring 24/7 continuous monitoring of DoDIN operations and protection of operational networks; serving as shift lead for the 24/7 Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) watch in support of the Joint DoDIN Operations Center (JDOC); training and mentoring junior watch officers; monitoring and analyzing alerts, warnings, and indicators to identify anomalous/malicious cybersecurity events; coordinating and overseeing incident response activities; preparing and submitting detailed incident reports; maintaining situational awareness of all security events and incidents; developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for watch operations; conducting regular shift briefings and debriefings; overseeing and managing a team of watch officers and analysts; coordinating with systems and network administrators to protect, monitor, analyze, detect, and respond to cybersecurity events. Qualifications required include US Citizenship with active Secret security clearance, a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, 7+ years of related work experience, ITIL v4 Foundation certification, ability to function as a technical expert, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow), and all relevant 8140 certifications. Desired qualifications include experience in DoD or Federal government environments, knowledge of project management principles, IT service management concepts, computer networking, cybersecurity principles, risk management, requirements analysis, stakeholder management, experience in large distributed IT enterprises, and knowledge of DevSecOps practices and principles.
