Industrials Process Equipment in Poca, WV is looking to hire a Welder/Fabricator/Assembler Specialist.

This position allows you to apply your skills to a company that makes custom-fabricated material handling equipment. Our products are not "cookie-cutter" products. Each project requires imagination and determination. The successful candidate for this position must be able to make decisions on projects that are not only the best option for the client but most importantly the safest and most cost-effective solution for all parties involved.

Responsibilities and Duties

Welding:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on a variety of metals including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Set up welding machines based on the job specifications and weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.I
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet industry standards and specifications

Fabrication:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials and tools required.
• Measure, cut, and shape metal materials using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as shears, brakes, and rollers.
• Assemble fabricated parts into final products using welding, bolting, or riveting techniques.

Assembly:

• Align and fit parts according to specifications, ensuring precise assembly of components.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, install, and secure components and systems.
• Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet the required standard

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have a weld shop/repair background.
• Strong mechanical abilities .
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manual specifications, or sample parts to determine weld procedures.
• Apply knowledge of product assembly (fabrication, greasing, lubrication, alignment, etc.).
• Proficiency in the use of test rigs, pressure testing, accelerometer testing, temperature testing, and equipment balancing.
• Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, and competing demands, and able to deal with frequent change.
