Job Description

Our client is a property management firm that oversees market-rate residential buildings in Manhattan. They are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to assist with building oversight.

This is a role that is expected to promote into a Property Manager within the year, sitting with a fast-growing real estate firm that is actively acquiring new properties!

Responsibilities:

• Respond to any resident issues or requests in a timely and appropriate manner
• Oversee property units and work with on-site maintenance staff to address any issues or move-ins
• Ensure that rents have been collected and deposited on an as needed basis
• Utilize Yardi Property Management software
• Track arrears, send arrears letters and discuss reports with the Property Manager
• Ensure property’s on-site maintenance team responds to service requests
• Keep track of calendar of apartment move-ins and move-outs

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience working in a Residential Property Management setting
• Knowledge of NYC Residential Market and applicable laws
• Excellent customer service focuses attitude
